Terms of Use

Welcome to The Pickypath Foundation's website ("Site"). By accessing or using our Site or participating in any of our programs, including the Picky Fellowship and Picky Scholarship, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use, our program-specific terms, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our Site or participating in our programs.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this Site or participating in our Picky Fellowship and Picky Scholarship Programs, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined in these Terms of Use.

2. Use of Site Content

All materials on this Site, including text, images, logos, and other content, are the property of The Pickypath Foundation or its licensors, protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you do not modify or reproduce it without prior written consent.

3. Picky Fellowship and Picky Scholarship Program Terms

Participation in The Pickypath Foundation's Picky Fellowship and Picky Scholarship Programs is subject to additional terms as follows:

  • Eligibility and Application Process
    • Picky Fellowship: Applicants must meet the specific eligibility requirements detailed in the application, which may include academic and professional prerequisites aligned with the Foundation's mission. Selection is based on applicant qualifications and program capacity.
    • Picky Scholarship: Applicants must be pursuing education in fields aligned with the Foundation’s mission, and must provide proof of enrollment and meet academic standards.
  • Program Structure and Benefits
    • Picky Fellowship: Once a candidate is selected and matched with an employer, they become employees of The Pickypath Foundation. Fellows gain hands-on experience by working directly for our participating employers, who provide supervision, training, and work assignments on relevant projects. Participating employers pay The Pickypath Foundation for services rendered, and The Foundation pays fellows as employees.
    • Picky Scholarship: Scholarships are granted directly to eligible students to support their academic expenses, contingent on meeting the specific program requirements.
  • Participant Responsibilities
    • Picky Fellowship: Fellows are required to fulfill job responsibilities, complete assignments on time, and comply with all employer-specific policies while on assignment.
    • Picky Scholarship: Scholarship recipients must maintain the academic standards specified in their award letter and provide updates on their progress if requested.
  • Employer Participation
    • Participating employers agree to provide meaningful work experience, training, and oversight to fellows assigned to their projects. Employers are responsible for establishing work conditions, project scopes, and any specific requirements relevant to the role.
    • Employers are billed by The Pickypath Foundation for the fellow’s services, with payment terms determined in the employer’s agreement with The Foundation. The Foundation then pays the fellows as employees.
  • Use of Funds
    • Program funds provided under both programs must be used only for approved purposes, such as tuition, work-related expenses, or other program-specific needs. Misuse of funds may result in the termination of benefits and potential repayment obligations.
  • Code of Conduct
    • All participants, including fellows, scholarship recipients, and employers, must adhere to the Foundation’s Code of Conduct, which includes respectful communication, professional behavior, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any violations may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of benefits.
  • Termination and Withdrawal
    • The Foundation reserves the right to terminate a fellow's or scholarship recipient's participation for non-compliance with program requirements or policies. Fellows and scholarship recipients who voluntarily withdraw may be required to return a portion of the funds received, depending on the timing and terms of the specific award.
    • Employer agreements may be terminated per the terms outlined in their contracts with The Pickypath Foundation.
