The Picky Scholarship Program provides financial support to promising students pursuing careers in accounting. Each scholarship recipient will receive USD $5,000 or CAD $7,000 per school year to help cover tuition and academic expenses.

Pursue your dreams without financial barriers.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
  • Pursue studies in accounting or a closely related field. 
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Be a current Picky Fellow who has been successfully admitted to our fellowship program.
  • Show evidence of community involvement or leadership experience.

  • Commitment to a career in accounting, shown through essays, internships, or other relevant experiences.
  • Community involvement and leadership potential.


Each year, we award scholarships to 5 to 10 students who demonstrate exceptional potential and alignment with our mission. The number of recipients is determined by both the available funding pool and the quality of applicants. 


Applications open each year from May 1 to June 30 for the upcoming school year. All applications must be submitted by June 30 of the school year they are applying for. Selected recipients will be notified by July 31.


  • Resume – A current resume detailing academic achievements, work experience, internships, and relevant extracurricular activities. 
  • Academic Transcripts – Official or unofficial transcripts showing current GPA and academic history.
  • Proof of Enrollment – Confirmation of enrollment in an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
  • Personal Statement – A 250-500 word essay detailing your career goals in accounting and how this scholarship will help you achieve them.
  • Financial Documentation (optional) – Documents to demonstrate financial need, such as FAFSA, recent tax returns, or other financial aid records.
  • Additional Supporting Materials (optional) – Any documents that demonstrate leadership, community involvement, or other relevant achievements.
