Picky Scholarship

The Picky Scholarship Program provides financial support to high school graduates entering college who have participated in the CEB program. Each scholarship recipient will receive USD $5,000 or CAD $7,000 per school year to help cover tuition and academic expenses.

More than just funding, this scholarship encourages personal and professional growth, empowering recipients to succeed and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  •  Must be a graduating high school senior..
  •  Must be admitted to a 2-year or 4-year college in the United States or Canada for the upcoming academic year. 
  •  Must have successfully completed at least one CEB program track.


  • Academic performance and consistency.
  • Community involvement and leadership potential.
  • Preference may be given to students from underserved communities or those with demonstrated financial need. 


Each year, we award scholarships to 5 to 10 students who demonstrate exceptional potential and alignment with our mission. The number of recipients is determined by both the available funding pool and the quality of applicants. 


Applications open each year from May 1 to June 30 for the upcoming school year. All applications must be submitted by June 30 of the school year they are applying for. Selected recipients will be notified by July 31.


  • College Admission Letter – Proof of acceptance to a 2-year or 4-year college in the United States or Canada.
  • Official High School Transcript – Must include GPA and coursework details.
  • Personal Statement (250–500 words) – A written essay explaining career aspirations, motivation, and how this scholarship will support their academic journey.
  • Proof of Financial Need (if applicable) – Documentation such as FAFSA (U.S.), OSAP (Canada), or other financial aid verification.
  • Resume or Extracurricular Activities List – Highlighting leadership roles, volunteer work, and community involvement.
  • Letter of Recommendation (Optional) – From a teacher, mentor, or community leader who can speak to the applicant’s character and potential.
